This project masterfully integrates the cutting-edge Seacell™ Lyocell yarn, a remarkable product in the textile industry, into an exclusive body wear capsule collection. This integration is achieved through the state-of-the-art WHOLEGARMENT® technology pioneered by SHIMA SEIKI, a name synonymous with advanced knitting technology. The resultant collection stands as an ideal wardrobe choice for those engaged in light wellness activities. It is perfectly suited for activities such as yoga, meditation, or sound therapy, offering comfort and style. Seacell™ Lyocell – A Unique Product that Harness the Power of Nature
Seacell™ is a patented, eco-friendly fiber, spun and processed from substances extracted from natural seaweed, which no chemicals released as waste. It is a closed-loop production method, that operates in a sustainable manner.
The fibers are made from eco-friendly, lowresources, and 100% biodegradable natural materials . Yarns made with Seacell™ have a soft and silky feel and provides maximum levels of comfort. Seacell™ also has a good biocompatibility, biodegradable absorption and other special features. In 2010 Seacell™ was honored with the well known German Innovation Prize

Aria ECO is spun from a mix of top quality organic cotton and and SeaCell™ lyocell, a very sustainable fibre made from seaweed that protects the skin from free radicals, promotes cell regeneration and can contribute to an overall sense of wellbeing.

WHOLEGARMENT® by SHIMA SEIKI
Is knitted three-dimensionally and conforms to the body, gently wrapping the wearer with ideal fit and comfort.
Unlike other knitwear, which is made by sewing separate parts together, WHOLEGARMENT® is very comfortable because it has no seams to restrict the natural stretch of yarn, so it cuddles the body.
It is a sustainable knitwear that is gentle to the earth as well as gentle to the skin. WHOLEGARMENT® knitwear is produced only and entirety on the knitting machine. It can be described as a 3D printer for textiles.
